Tami Wilson Rivera is the Chief Facilities and Administration Officer of the Legal Aid Society. In this role, Mrs. Wilson Rivera oversees Facilities, Procurement, and Shared Services.
Prior to joining the Legal Aid Society, Tami was the Vice President of Operations and Administrative Services with Food Bank For New York City; where she led teams in IT, Procurement, Risk and Disaster, Facilities, Warehouse Operations, and Distribution. During the height of the pandemic, she met the increased demand for food and food insecurity by finding creative ways to distribute 96 million meals to NYC communities and collaborate with a variety of corporate and community partners. She continued to support the operations while improving infrastructure and completing a much-needed $3.5M capital improvement for the Warehouse and Community Kitchen and Pantry.
During her 5 years at Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, she maintained oversight for matters related to risk and compliance, database management, contracts, procurement, and finance operations for the National Office and 41 chapters. Tami holds a Bachelors’ in Architecture from Texas Tech University and a Master’s in Facilities and Operations Management from Rochester Institute of Technology. Tami currently resides in Westchester with her husband, two children, and faithful dog Cinnamon.
