The Legal Aid Society, New York State Senators Brad Hoylman, Jessica Ramos, Jamaal Bailey and Assemblymember Walter T. Mosley will hold a virtual press conference on Thursday, May 14th at 2 p.m. ET to call on Albany leaders to immediately enact key legislative measures to mitigate the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Legal Aid clients, and all New Yorkers who have been disproportionately affected.

Legal Aid will unveil the organization’s legislative platform, which will include critical relief within areas such as housing, employment, criminal justice, and juvenile rights, among others.
