Caroline King Joins LAS as Chief Development Officer

The Legal Aid Society is pleased to announce that Caroline King has accepted the role of Chief Development Officer. In this position, Caroline will oversee increasing and diversifying the organization’s revenue from private philanthropy sources.

Prior to arriving at Legal Aid, Caroline served as the National Director of Principal and Major Gifts at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. During her eight-year tenure, the team successfully completed a $100M campaign as part of the organization’s centennial celebration. Before fundraising for reproductive rights, she worked at both the American Red Cross and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

Caroline has a B.S. from University College London and an M.A. in History from the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies.
