Every day, we make a difference in the lives of our clients with the help of law firms, corporations, community organizations, and people like you. There is power in partnerships and coalitions and in every facet of our work, we strive to harness that power. There is strength in numbers and The Legal Aid Society works to build the relationships needed to bring justice and services to all those we serve.
Some of the city’s most prestigious law firms make up our Sustaining Law Firms, who generously contribute their time, expertise, and financial support to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to justice. In addition to their considerable contributions, our Sustaining Law Firms take a leading role through their support of our Pro Bono Practice
The Legal Aid Society’s Corporate Advocates are a group of committed local and national companies who invest in our work, supporting our mission to deliver justice in every borough of New York. Through financial contributions, volunteering partnerships, and event sponsorships, our Corporate Advocates make a lasting impact on our city.
A grant from Wells Fargo is helping Legal Aid expand outreach efforts to educate New Yorkers on ERAP eligibility, provide free or low-cost legal counseling and representation to people at risk of eviction, and advance advocacy work to mitigate evictions including for BIPOC communities disproportionately affected by the economic downturn caused by COVID-19.
