The Legal Aid Society held its 39th annual holiday celebration and toy distribution at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on Friday, December 16th.

Legal Aid staff members were joined by volunteers from law firms and corporate advocates from around the city to spread holiday cheer, providing toys and gift cards to over 300 children of low-income New Yorkers.

“All kids deserve the joy that holiday gifts can bring,” said Twyla Carter, Attorney-in-Chief and Chief Executive Officer of The Legal Aid Society. “That is why I am so proud that this event has been one of Legal Aid’s longest-running traditions.”
