Theresa Moser, an attorney with The Legal Aid’s Juvenile Rights Practice, was honored with the Kathryn A. McDonald Award for Excellence in Service to Family Court by the New York City Bar Association.

The award recognizes attorneys whose work in New York City’s Family Court and reflects Judge Kathryn McDonald’s legacy of excellence, compassion, determination, and dedication to the fair administration of justice.

This award is especially meaningful as the late Hon. Kathryn A. McDonald was a Legal Aid alum who began her career in our Juvenile Rights Division before going on to a remarkable career on the Family Court bench.

Presented by New York State Chief Judge Rowan Wilson, this honor highlights Theresa’s unwavering commitment to advocating for children and families and ensuring they receive the support, representation, and dignity they deserve.
