If you are less than 21 years older and were discharged after turning 18 due to failure to consent to placement, you may return. You may also reenter foster care if you are over 16 and likely to become homeless.

To return to foster care, you must make the request two years or less after your final discharge, or by your 20th birthday if you were discharged before 18.
