This Hague convention case concerned a father’s allegations that his children had been kidnapped by their mother and taken to the U.S.. With proceedings taking place in the District Court, the Legal Aid Society alongside co-counsel Arnold & Porter, LLC, represented Y.C.T., the eldest of the six children involved.

After successfully moving to intervene in the case in order to best represent Y.C.T.’s interests, the Legal Aid Society and co-counsel joined in a motion to dismiss that was eventually granted by the court.
