The Legal Aid Society is thrilled to once again be an official charity partner of the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon. After a two-year hiatus, Team LAS is proud to once again join the dozens of charity partners and tens of thousands of runners in a 13.1-mile race from Brooklyn to Central Park, all in the name of equal access to justice!

Run for Justice

Over the last eight years, Team LAS runners have raced across New York City totaling over 1,600 miles and raising over $250,000 in support of The Legal Aid Society’s legal units and projects providing life-saving services to New Yorkers in need.

When you run for Team LAS, you join a community of advocates who have run for justice, equality, and an end to the barriers that keep low-income New Yorkers from finding stability and security in their lives. With each mile run, and every dollar raised, we are able to extend our reach into the most vulnerable communities of our city.
