Thursday’s 8th annual New Leadership Program Winter Benefit was a tremendous success. We are so thankful for everyone who came to support the work of The Legal Aid Society. Together we raised over $43,000 for vulnerable New Yorkers in need.

The New Leadership Program (NLP) is a dynamic group of accomplished young professionals from across the city who support The Legal Aid Society’s mission through advocacy, volunteer work, and fundraising. The Winter Benefit is the largest fundraising event of the NLP calendar year. Each year proceeds from the Benefit support The Legal Aid Society’s underfunded units and projects and their critical work providing free legal services and tools to more than tens of thousands of low-income children and adults.
