Questioning Forensics: To Err is Human, To Do Science is… Still Human – Examining Human Factors, Subjectivity, and Error in Forensic Science.

This year’s conference is inspired by the ground-breaking recent report on human factors in forensic DNA from an expert working group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. You will hear from one of the report’s authors, dive deep into an analysis of the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner’s contamination scandal, learn about validation limitations, and so much more!
