Community Conversations: Curing Our Streets of Gun Violence

David Caba leads Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence (B.R.A.G.), a program that works with young people, local community residents, community organizations, and the public to promote safer streets and new community norms where violence is not accepted.

David joins Anthony Posada, Supervising Attorney of The Legal Aid Society’s Community Justice Unit, for an in-depth conversation on gun violence and how it can be effectively prevented.

“When people think of gun violence, they often don’t think of an epidemic or a public health crisis,” said Caba. “You really seek to put forward a model in which the youth change their hearts and mindsets, have a voice, and feel empowered.”
