Connie Park Joins LAS as Chief Human Resources Officer

The Legal Aid Society is pleased to announce that Connie Park has joined the organization in the role of Chief Human Resources Officer where she will lead a team of Human Resources professionals dedicated to retaining, recruiting, and supporting the people who deliver on the mission for justice in every borough.

Prior to joining the Legal Aid Society of NYC, Park served as the Executive Director of Human Resources, Chief Diversity Officer, and Title IX Coordinator at SUNY Corning Community College for five years.  Her past professional experiences also include 15 years in a variety of roles in Human Resources at Cornell University and she has worked within the non-profit sector in New York City providing direct human services to individuals who experience chronic homelessness.

“The Legal Aid Society is unique in its ability to fight for justice on behalf of the people of New York City, hold systems accountable, and advocate for systemic change,” said Park. “I am honored to join and work alongside the passionate individuals who fight tirelessly every day, in every borough.”

Connie holds her masters from Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Maryland.
