The Housing Crisis is About to Get Worse

If Albany doesn’t act, thousands of New Yorkers are at risk of eviction and homelessness as federal assistance expires.

But if the Housing Access Voucher Program (HAVP) is fully funded at $250 million in the state budget, it will keep these residents safely housed in their homes and communities.

Let Governor Hochul, Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins, and Speaker Heastie know the time to act is now.
