The presence of the Criminal Appeals Bureau in the Miranda cluster of cases was followed by the Bureau’s participation in the landmark eyewitness identification trilogy: United States v. Wade, Gilbert v. California and Stovall v. Denno. In the 1967 Term, the High Court also took its first look at controversial stop-and-frisk policies.
