What These Terms Mean

Travel ban: People from this country may not enter the U.S. on certain visas, or at all, with limited exceptions.
Immigrant visa freeze: You can apply and attend an interview, but immigrant visas are not being issued right now, due to concerns about “public charge.”
USCIS hold: USCIS is not making decisions on some applications filed inside the U.S.
Visitor visa bond: Some visitors may have to pay a refundable bond ($5,000-$15,000).
Dual citizenship: If you are a citizen of two countries, some limits may not apply if your other country is not listed.
