At a time in which millions of New Yorkers were susceptible to losing the roof over their heads, The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights and Civil Practices joined forces to usher a bill through the New York City Council providing, for the first time, rental assistance to 18-21-year-olds in the city.
