The Legal Aid Society began a program of celebrating awareness months, beginning with a reception observing Black History Month which recognized and honored the diversity of our staff. Similar ceremonies are now held to observe Women’s History Month, Asian American/Pacific Islander American Heritage Month, PRIDE, and Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month.
