Brokers' Fees Obstruct Access to Quality Housing: LAS on WNYC

The Legal Aid Society’s Robert Desir, Civil Law Reform Staff Attorney, joined WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show with New York City Council Member Keith Powers for a conversation on brokers’ fees and how these added costs obstruct our clients’ access to quality housing.

The segment also discussed pending legislation at the City Council, which would limit exactly what fees and rates real-estate brokers can charge for services.
