Public Partnerships, LLC Home Care

Plaintiffs Philip Calderon, Dana Folgar, Farshad Pinchasi, and Allison Fields sued Public Partnerships, LLC (PPL), the statewide intermediary for New York’s Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), in this class action, which was originally filed in April 2025 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Katz Banks Kumin LLP and The Legal Aid Society represent the plaintiffs, who seek to represent a class of personal assistants in New York City and Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk counties.

The Plaintiffs allege that PPL failed to pay personal assistants accurately or on time, in violation of the New York Labor Law and the Fair Labor Standards Act, and that PPL failed to pay personal assistants in the manner required under New York’s Wage Parity Act. A copy of the most recent First Amended Complaint is available here.
